Scientific Committee

The scientific committee of the institute is charged with issuing notices and recommendations following the provisions of the article 68 of the executive decree n° 03-279 of 24^th Jumada Ethania 1424 corresponding to 23^rd August 2003 defining the functions of the university as well as the particular rules of its organization and operation, stated in the official journal as follows:

• -          Organization and content of the lessons.
• -          Organization of the research works.
• -          Proposals of research programs.
• -          Proposals of creation or removal of departments and/or fields, units and research labs.
• -          Proposals of opening, renewal, and/or closure of post-graduation fields and the number of vacancies.

It is further charged with:

1-      Approve of research papers suggested by the students of post-graduation and then suggest their juries of viva defense.

2-      Suggest the juries of the university qualification.

3-      Examine the educational and scientific activities reports of the faculty which are transmitted to the Rector along with notices and recommendations.

It might be asked for any question of educational or scientific nature submitted by the Director.
