The Deputy Director charged with post-graduation, scientific research and external relations; pursuant to the provisions of the article 34 of the interministerial decree of 8th Rajab 1425 corresponding to 24th August 2004 on the administrative organization of the rectorate, faculty, institute, annex of the university and its shared services, is charged with:
- Following-up the process of competition for post-graduation,
- Taking or suggesting appropriate measures for the operation of post-graduation trainings and ensuring the execution of post-graduation viva defense.
- Supervising the activities of research.
- Launching cooperation actions with socioeconomic sectors.
- Launching actions for boosting and strengthening the national and international interuniversity cooperation.
- Implementing programs for improvement and retraining of teachers.
- Following up the operation of scientific committee of the institute and keep the archives.

- Head of service of tracking the post-graduation training.
- Head of service of tracking the research activities.
- Head of service of cooperation and external relations.
